Nysportsphoto was started in 2006 to produce Professional action photos for athletes that would like to record the great moments of there games!

Richs Bio

Rich was born and raised in Centereach, NY. Later to move to queens where he found that he had a love for photography. Rich then joined one of the best photo clubs in NY the fresh meadows camera club. where he was part of an intense learning group of semi pro photographers. That's where he found out that he was really interested in sports action photography. As time went on he started shooting for many different news papers and magazines to keep with what he loved to do. Then when his family was in need of a better place to live he came beck to his home town and have been photographing sports for the Long island publications.

His sports photography experience spans over a period of 20 plus years. He began my career shooting sporting events for Queens Publishing which includes The Bayside Times, Flushing Times, Fresh Meadows Times, Glen Oaks Ledger, Jamaica Times, Little Neck Ledger, Queens Village Times, and the Whitestone Times. He later became the photo editor for all of these publications. Rich was also instrumental in the start up of a new publication known as New York Sports Beat where he was the photo editor as well.More recently you can find his work in ultimate athlete magazine.

Richs Statement

As an accomplished photographer in all aspects of the profession, I have photographed multiple high profile events while producing expert results. Some examples of sporting events that I have photographed are, The Belmont Stakes, Big East basketball Tournaments, Golden Glove Boxing, The Children's Special Olympics, The NY Mets ,Pro/Am kickboxing, The LI Rough Riders as well as St. Johns Basketball, Football, Soccer, and Volleyball, along with many others in the New York City and surrounding areas.
